"Bleu de toi" is the specialist of the "Bintje",
a fine potato grown in Belgium... Cosy and very intimate two
floor restaurant, very peaceful atmosphere !!! This is located

The history
of the "bintje" !!!
This famous potato variety was created in the Netherlands
in 1905. It was cultivated for the first time by Mr. De Vries,
a teacher by profession; he had great interest in cross-fertilizing
potato varieties to create genuine and brand new ones. He had
9 children and each of his potatoes got the name of one of his
children. When all these possibilities were left, he named his
10th new variety after one of his son : Bintje! |

This is definitely an excellent
restaurant. Prices are moderated (10 to 20$) and the menus are
really raffinate...The
wine list is impressive. Monthly wine events are held there,
including tastings and more; call to find out more...
Two floors with two different athmospheres. If you plan a honey
moon and spend a few days in Brussels, please try the "Bleu
de toi"... |
