Chez
Leon
Rue de Bouchers
1000 Bruxelles
"The small chain Chez Léon, also now with a restaurant
on Champs Elysées in Paris, started at this very place.
This a place for Belgian cuisine and mussels, especially in
July and August. In fact, its just a lovely cosy restaurant.
The decor is simple and modern, and it always seems crowded,
especially with tourists. Léon is best known for its
moules-frites (mussels and french fries) and serves many varieties
of this Belgian specialty. An average dish costs BEF 650.
Other good seafood dishes are also available. Outdoor service
is available during the summer."
